Who We Are
Hotels Association of Tanzania (HAT) is a non-profit registered organisation formed in 2004 and a member of the Tourism Confederation Tanzania (TCT), the tourism apex body that consists of 11 other Tourism Private Sector associations. It originated from Hotels Keepers Association of Tanzania formed in the 1970s.

Members Representation
HAT attends meetings organised by the government to discuss how to overcome challenges in the private sector and stagnation of growth in the economy.
Organise Internal Consultative Meetings
HAT organizes smaller consultative meetings amongst its members to discuss any issues pertaining to the sector and how to proceed forward.
A source for sub-sector and Industry information
HAT is recognized to be the representative of the hospitality sector and an important stakeholder for the government by virtue of its members.
