Following the directive by H.E. President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli in response to the business community’s concerns over the burden of accumulated tax arrears that include penalties and interest raised during the Tanzania National Business Council Meeting (TNBC) held on 20th March, the parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania during its budget session, made some amendments through the Finance Act. 2018 and the Tax Administration Act. 2015.2018.
