In the course of the week, we understood that the Government had further refused one foreign supplier to import meat even whilst agreeing to comply to the new tariffs with the reason that there is enough capacity locally to supply consumers. We thus proceeded to request one of the hotel industry’s biggest supplier to ascertain to us whether there would indeed be enough supply. Their response is attached to this letter.
