IMPORTANT NOTICE – HAT on behalf of its members has filed a petition in High Court against LGA for continuing to forcefully and unlawfully impose District Service Levy on HAT Members. Our Legal Representatives, Ako Law in Association with Clyde & Co LLP are informing all members who wish to join the petition by instructing their lawyers to draft and file the necessary court documents to join the “Misc. Civil Case No.3 of 2015”. Once this matter is in court all District Councils in Tanzania will have to cease demands until judgement is made by the High Court.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – HAT continues to advise members to pay ONE (1) TALA LICENSE PER REGISTERED TOURISM BUSINESS. This matter has been escalated to the Prime Minister’s Office to be addressed due to MNRT’s refusal to acknowledge and resolve the dispute of the controversy over Licensing of Tourism Facilities (The demands of Multiple TALA per Registered Tourism Business is contrary to the spirit of the law).
