The proliferation of Invasive Alien Species in several parts of the country has emerged to be a challenge threatening to unfold Government efforts in improving the State of the Environment through Conservation. In recent years there has been observed increased cases of Invasive Alien Species infestation in many parts of the country causing adverse impacts to socio-economic welfare, environmental well-being and human health.
