Currently, the northern circuit is the only region that has continued to prosper mainly due to the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Mount Kilimanjaro. However, even this prosperity is seasonal and it is still to be determined whether the northern attractions have reached their carrying capacity. Further, given that a typical safari in Tanzania is 27% more expensive than Kenya for example, tourists tend to have shorter stays.
