CHANGING MINDSETS ABOUT THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN SOCIETY
Women all around the world, including in Africa have more choices now but they are still underrepresented in many levels. Though top positions should also be commended, they do not necessarily come with the authority to make changes.
This year’s international women’s day theme is to press for progress. “Now, more than ever, there’s a strong call-to-action to press forward and progress gender parity. A strong call to press for progress. A strong call to motivate and unite friends, colleagues and whole communities to think, act and be gender inclusive.”
